Bramwith Motor Company

The Process

All Bramwith factory-built vehicles are assembled to the highest quality standards.

Our experienced team handcrafts each vehicle to precise customer specifications using modern Ford components and new Zetec engines.

Chassis

Purpose built using rectangular hollow section steel and laser-cut profile parts to produce an exceptionally robust chassis.

Bodyshell

A superb quality hand composite construction using our own purpose built moulds.

Assembly

The vehicle body is mounted onto the chassis, and the full internal steel roll cage – incorporating seat belt mounts etc – is fitted. Roll cages have undergone full stress tests to ensure strength and safety.

Running gear

Axles and other components are fitted along with a new Ford Zetec engine and gearbox. New wiring, brake and fuel systems are then installed.

Paint shop

Each vehicle is painted to precise customer specifications, including authentic classic promotional signage, if required.

Trim

After painting, the luxury hand-stitched leather interior is fitted, or customers may choose a superb quality vinyl interior.

Final testing

Vehicles are returned to the workshop for final assembly and careful testing prior to the SVA test.

SVA (Single Vehicle Approval)

Each Bramwith vehicle undergoes rigorous government tests by the VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency). These tests ensure the vehicle is manufactured and constructed to the highest standards, and that critical safety features, such as brakes, steering and suspension, meet stringent guidelines.
